In Drift 1, my initial plan was to go to the lakefront of Milwaukee, but circumstances brought me to the lakefront in Kenosha instead. For Drift 2, I plan on coming back to Milwaukee for a second try. I will be taking the main points from Drift 1 and applying them to Drift 2. I will try to get more bird sounds, but see how many variations and outside noises I can get in addition to the birds. It will be a contrast between the natural and mechanical world.
I will start again at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and work my way down the lakefront, only this time I will be more interested in the wooded trails more than the water itself.
for my image-capturing strategy, I have decided to use a mix of still and moving images. I will be taking pictures of mechanical things (buildings, cars, signs, etc...) and using moving images for the natural things. When put together, the natural video's will have a soothing flow and will contrast with the hard, sharp images of the mechanical things flashing on the screen.
